Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of patients with acute leukemia before and after chemotherapy. Methods Flow cytometry was used to detect T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of 30 patients with acute leukemia and 18 healthy controls. The results of patients with acute leukemia before and after chemotherapy were analyzed and compared. Results The percentages of CD3 + cells, CD4 + cells and CD4 + / CD8 + in 30 patients with acute leukemia before chemotherapy were lower than those in normal controls (P <0.05). After chemotherapy, CD3 + cells, CD4 + cells and CD4 + / CD8 + ratio of 26 complete remission patients rose back to normal control group (P> 0.05), and there were also significant differences compared with those before chemotherapy (P <0.05). Conclusion The cellular immune function of patients with acute leukemia was significantly inhibited. The detection of T lymphocyte subsets in patients with acute leukemia immune monitoring and efficacy, prognosis have some clinical significance.
