Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) was one of the most famous British modernist writers in the first half of the twentieth century. As one of the most important characters in the modernist literary movement, she not only created a series of stream of consciousness novels to distinguish them from the traditional narrative novels, but also wrote many commentary articles to elaborate her theory of modern novels, such as “Modern Novel” Wait.
