Aging economies will grow more slowly and unfairly - unless policies change from now on. Warren Buffett is a landmark figure in American capitalism. He will hold an informal ceremony on May 3, which is Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting. At 83, he is also a typical representative of a staggering demographic trend: highly skilled people continue to work in the old days considered to be old. In developed countries, well-educated people work longer and longer hours than less skilled ones. Approximately 65% of U.S. men aged 62 to 74 with a degree are still working. In contrast, only 32% of working-age men are men of the same age with only a high school diploma. The situation in the EU is similar.
