夏谷在巨鹿县种植面积较大,占秋粮作物的40%以上。虽说种植历史悠久,但由于技术落后,常年产量低而不稳。为寻找夏谷快速增产的路子,我县技术站与省农科院谷子研究所合作,于1987—1989年经多点试验与示范,总结出夏谷快速增产法,通过在全县推广,单产由原来的140公斤左右,提高到230公斤。现将具体作法介绍如下: Summer Valley in Julu County planted a larger area, accounting for more than 40% of autumn grain crops.
