“人民教育”八月号“关于改进语文教学”一文中,編者提出了一系列的問題。其中提到把古文譯成現代文的問題:“这些文章翻得好不好?还能不能保持原文的艺术价值?”正好,我在写“廉頗藺相如列傳”的課时計划时,接触到了这个問題,现在把我自己的看法提出来与大家商榷一下。我認为,把古文譯成現代文,并以現代文进行教学,这样做并不好。如果要教古典文学,还是教原文比較好。譯成現代文是必要的,但不能作为教学的范文,只能附在后面作为参政。以上是总的看法。以下談談我对“廉頗藺相加列傳”那課譯文的具体意見。第一,現代文沒有充分表現出藺相如惊人的机智和勇敢。例如,在“完壁归赵”的故事中,原文借他自己的話这么来表現:“大王必欲急臣,臣头今与壁
In the August issue of “People’s Education” on Improving Chinese Teaching, the editor raised a series of questions.
