早在1800年尼科尔逊(Nicholson)和卡尔利斯雷(Carlisle)就研究了有机化合物在水中的电解过程,但是他們仍没有把这个方法应用到有机合成上来。直到1847年柯尔别(Kolbe)用电解的方法使用机酸变成碳氫化合物,成功地完成了第一个电解合成反应。此后在这方面的进展是很快的,一系列的有机物被放置在阳极或阴极上来对它們进行电极过程的研究。目前用电解方法研究过的有机化合物已有数千种,其中的某些方法已經成功地用于工业生产、有机物的合成、有机物結构的确定以及极譜分析等方面,而且越来越多地引起人們的兴趣。可以预料,不久的将来,有机物的电解合成也将成为有机物工艺中的重要部门之一。
As early as 1800 Nicholson and Carlisle studied the electrolysis of organic compounds in water, but they still did not apply this method to organic synthesis. It was not until 1847 that Kolbe successfully converted the first electrolytic synthesis reaction using organic acids to hydrocarbons. At present, there are thousands of organic compounds studied by electrolysis methods, some of which have been successfully used in industrial production, organic synthesis, organic structure determination and polarographic analysis, and more and more People’s interest.
