自印象派于1874年第一次公开亮相以来,就预示着视觉革命的到来。正如贡布里希先生所说的:“当人们初次看印象派画展时,显然是把鼻子几乎都要碰到画面上那样去观看。”在那个多事之秋,印象派是先锋的,是前卫的。在此之后的现代艺术所引起的一次又一次的轩然大波,使得艺术与非艺术的界限比以往任何时候都难以确定。当代德国美学家沃兰德就发出这样的感叹:“从艺术的观点来看,难道现代艺术不是魔鬼的作品吗?……所有过去那些被看做是丑的和令人厌恶的东西——那种垃圾癖和裸体癖——难道都是艺术吗?”
Since the first public appearances of the Impressionists in 1874, the advent of a visual revolution has been foreshadowed. As Mr. Gombrich said: “When people first looked at the Impressionist exhibition, it was clear that they had almost always seen their nose on the screen.” “Impressionism was avant-garde and avant-garde in that eventful time. The uproar after time of modern art has made it impossible to determine the boundary between art and non-art more than ever before. Contemporary German aesthetist Voland made the following remark: ”From an artistic point of view, can modern art not be a devil’s work? ... all those things that were seen as ugliness and repugnance in the past - The kind of garbage addiction and nudity - is it all art?
