2006年1月,刘爱武来到洛川学校担任校长一职。此时的洛川,是一所由原洛川中学和宜川新村第二小学合并而成的公办九年一贯制学校。学校生源地为上个世纪六七十年代的老工人新村,学生的家庭教育状况、学习基础水平参差不齐,呈现出了较大的差异。为了改变这一状况,刘爱武以信患技术为突破口,在她和教师团队孜孜不倦的努力之下,洛川学校的信息化建设从外围走向课堂,从最初的硬件建设,到直指课堂的变革,在信息技术发展的持续带动下,取得了一系列引人注目的成绩,成为了一所从信息技术切入走向新优质的样本学校。
