用V形块、鞍式V形座检测圆度误差和圆柱度误差是我国国家标准《形状和位置公差检测规定》(GB1958—80)中规定的检测方法之一。此法与用圆度仪或用坐标测量仪检测圓度圆柱度误差相比,所用设备结构简单、成本低、操作简便,对被测件尺寸和环境条件要求都不太严格,且能获得较高测量精度,深受广大工厂计量人员的欢迎。但此法也有缺点。因其不是按定义测量,因而测微仪所示数值是发生了畸变的圓度误差信息,只有应用反映系数等进行复杂的计算后才能得到圓度误差。
