Applying “GnRH Analogue (G-A) Exercise Test” to observe the change of hypothalamus and its effect on pituitary-gonadal axis after high intensity training in female athletes. Nine late-ovulation athletes participated in a five-day trial. In the control group (4), LH and FSH did not change significantly but E2 and E2 / P decreased after the limit load exercise. LH and FSH increased significantly in G-A group, E2 and E2 / P increased significantly and FsH / LH decreased, suggesting that high-intensity exercise mainly inhibits the hypothalamus but not the pituitary gland and peripheral gonad. However, this phenomenon did not accumulate in the 5-day experiment. There was no regular change in T, C, ACTH and T / C, suggesting that changing the T / C ratio may not be sensitive to evaluating the performance of female athletes.
