1991年前后,我们受保定市劳动部门的委托,开始对全市范围内的锅炉水处理情况进行调查。调查中有这样两个典型例子引起了我们的思考:一个是定兴县某单位的热水锅炉清洗工人进行清垢时,一次竟能掏出几十公斤铁垢,有的管子强度已经很差,主要问题是停炉后没有人管。一个夏季风吹雨淋已是面目全非。第二个例子是涿州市造纸厂一台4t/h蒸汽炉是1974年安装的,每年停炉以后该厂都立即采取保护措施(灌水、加药),结果此炉运行二十多年除传动部门外受压部件未发生过大的故障。1994年更换了全部烟管,预计此炉还能正常使用十年以上。因此,停用锅炉的保护问题不可小看。
