中成药的起源历史悠久,历代医药典籍中记载的方剂数以十万计,其中除了汤剂等少数剂型以外,大多数是中成药。这些成方经过历代医家不断地应用、积累、演变和发展,形成了今天丰富多彩的中成药品种。现就以古今具有代表性的中成药为例,联系历代著名方书,依其时代前后排列,做一简单介绍:
The origins of Chinese patent medicines have a long history. The number of prescriptions recorded in historical medical books amounts to 100,000.
