《基础教育课程改革纲要(试行)》中强调:“要改变课程实施过于强调接受学习、死记硬背、机械训练的现状,倡导学生主动参与、乐于探究、勤于动手,培养学生搜集和处理信息的能力、获取新知识的能力、分析和解决问题的能力以及交流与合作的能力”。生物课程由于其与人类关系的密切性,更应该大力倡导“主动合作探究”。其中探究性学习承载着科学知识的掌握、科学技能的发展、科学方法的训练、科学精神的培养和科学思维习惯的养成等多重任务。因此,科学探究的学习方式应该成为生物学科重要的学习方式。而综合实践活动作为探究性学习中的重要形式之一,对提高学生的科学素养、激发他们学习生物学的兴趣,帮助学生了解科学探究的基本过程和方法,培养学生的科学探究能力、合作精神和社会责任感,提高他们将来适应社会生活的能力都有重要的作用。
