当代架上绘画艺术，存在着迎合“市场文化”低级趣味，“精英体制”的“压榨”、“形式主义”的“怪圈”等时代弊端。绘画作品的价值取决于作品能否反映当时的社会历史、文化、文状态，作品反映生活的角度和对艺术语言把握的准确程度。生活永远是艺术主源，因此，真正的架上艺术家应该永远贴近生活，而大可不必改换门庭，追赶时髦。
In the contemporary art of painting, there are some shortcomings of the times that cater to the low tastes of “market culture”, “squeezing” the “elite system” and “the vicious circle” of “formalism.” The value of the painting works depends on whether the works can reflect the social history, culture and literary status at that time. The works reflect the angle of life and the accuracy of the artistic language. Life is always the main source of art. Therefore, the real art-bearer should stay close to life forever, without having to change the courtroom to catch up with fashion.
