Islet cell hyperplasia is rare in clinical practice, accounting for only 8% of islet cells secreting tumors. Only 8 cases were reported abroad before 1981. This disease has serious harm to patients. If early diagnosis and treatment are available, the prognosis is mostly good. In our hospital, a case was reported and the report was as follows: The patient, male, 31 years old, hospital number 64975, admitted to hospital on February 11, 1974 with paroxysmal sleep for six years. Six years ago, the patient began an intermittent morning drowsiness, weakness after awakening, dizziness, palpitation, palpitations, chest tightness, trembling extremities, and diplopia, which gradually worsened. The onset is mostly at 6-7 in the morning, and it takes only half an hour after taking sugar water to wake up. Even in the afternoon when hunger strikes. The first episode started once a day and several times in the following January. The outpatient blood glucose was 50 mg/dl.
