安徽省建筑科研所研制的非烧结普通砂砖(以下简称免烧砖)是以河砂、山砂或选矿尾砂等为主要原材料,以水泥、掺合料及外加剂为粘结剂,经计量、搅拌、半干压成型后,只需自然养护而制成的一种非烧结墙体材料。它具有不用土,不需煅烧或蒸养,能源消耗少,每万块砖的综合生产能耗仅为521.1千克标准煤,生产工艺简单,占地面积少,建厂投资省,年产1000万块的免烧砖厂投资约25万元,厂区占地面积仅6亩左右。同时还具有生产成本低、无环境污染等优点。
