A day road, or a pilgrimage path is very difficult. Escher’s painting made me feel a joy, saw a boundless possibilities. In particular, his board painted “day and night” and the slate “waterfall.” It was a real shock to me when I first saw it, just like being a magician, just as it was when I first met Alain Robb-Grillet’s “jealousy.” Day and night are especially important, more flavorful than Waterfall. Enlightening hair! It is my dream. Instead of sneaking a few pieces of his picture in the same way that Magritte “It’s not a pipe,” he’s not disassembling, reorganizing or collageing, leaving you with a (really fake) trap, quiz and game. Eschhel’s Day and Night approached a time similar to God’s time and straightened in time. A good one
