美国心理学家洛钦斯曾提出过人际交往中存在“首因效应”的理论,也即在一般的人际交往中,给人留下的第一印象至关重要,且作用很强,持续的时间也很长。如果将法官与当事人作为交往关系的双方主体的话,那么两者之间同样受着“首因效应”的影响,而且这一影响攸关司法公信的建设。在自媒体时代,人人都有麦克风,每个人都是信息的传播源,每一个当事人都成了对司法最有发言权的媒介中心,每一个裁判的公正或是不公正都有可能产生“一传十,十传百”的多米诺骨牌效应,进而深入地影响司法公信力
