目前,国内外对烟囱的地震反应大多只计算水平地震力.我们对十年来国内几次大地震造成的砖烟囱震害,进行了较详细的分析研究,发现传统的计算方法不能很好解释砖烟囱的破坏现象.本文提出必须考虑地面竖向运动引起的纵波应力的新观点.计算结果表明,地震时砖烟囱的纵波应力数值很大,不容忽视.根据纵波应力或它与水平地震力的联合作用,能使砖烟囱的各种震害现象得到较合理的解释.
