过去提出的铀试剂和钍试剂在光度测定铀、钍、钚、铝、稀土以及一系列其它元素方面得到了广泛的应用。但是稍后提出的铀试剂Ⅱ、钍试剂Ⅱ,特别是铀试剂Ⅲ也是很有使用价值的。所有这些试剂都能很好的溶解于水,而实际上不溶于有机溶剂。因此,到目前为止,比色测定都只是在水溶液中进行的。一系列其它试剂所能适用的萃取比色法,对于铀试剂-钍试剂来我是不适用的。在本文内描述了允许以萃取法完成这类有色反应的方法。我们来讨论一下钍与铀试剂络合物的结构式:
The uranium and thorium reagents proposed in the past have been widely used in the photometric determination of uranium, thorium, plutonium, aluminum, rare earths and a host of other elements.
