语言是一种社会现象,人们在运用语言进行交际活动时,离不开社会语言情景。而情景教学法,就是指在教学过程中教师有目的地引入或创设具有一定情绪色彩的、以形象为主体的生动具体的场景,以引起学生一定的态度体验,从而帮助学生理解和获取知识或技能,并使学生心理机能得到发展的方法。情景教学法突破了以往教学方法唯智主义的框框,其特色是言、行、情三者融为一体。其核心是激发学生的情感。其目的是激发学生表达思想的欲望,培养其运用英语理解和表达思维的能力。

Situational teaching method refers to the teachers in the teaching process purposely introduce or create a certain emotionally colored, vivid images of the specific scene to cause students to experience a certain attitude to help students understand and acquire knowledge or Skills, and to enable students to develop the psychological function of the method.
