我校通过课外活动增长学生知识,培养创造能力,对学生进行思想教育,促进学生的思想转化,收到较好的效果。不仅使学生认清祖国的前途和自己的责任,立志做廿一纪世的主人,为祖国和人类做出贡献,而且这几年学生共写小论文600多篇,在县、市获奖的133篇,搞科技制作3200多件,在县、市获奖的587件。一、通过参观考察对学生进行增强自豪感,热爱社会主义祖国的教育。我校每年组织一次参观考察活动,到青岛、大连等十几个城镇考察地质地貌、高山植被、海上采油、气象情报等廿几个项目。学生走出校门,投身大自然的怀抱,面对祖国丰富的资源、壮丽的山河,激起对祖国的无限热爱。大自然的神奇和奥妙吸引着他们去追求和探索。在参观大沽炮台和烟台威海北洋水师提督衙门
