改革20年来,中国的文化产业有了飞速的发展。据抽样调查,1997年,全国城镇居民人均用于娱乐、教育等文化服务方面的支出为448.38元,而在1985年仅为55.01元。据1997年统计,全国2600余个专业艺术表演团体,年演出42万场次,国内观众4.6亿人次;剧院、影院年演出放映235.2万场次,观众1.69亿人次;出版图书12万种、73.1亿册,杂志7918种、24.4亿册,报纸1077种、186.5亿份;共有广播电台1363座、电视台923座,广播和电视人口覆盖率分别达到86%和87.6%,并且已经形成了全球最大的电视市场。
Over the past 20 years of reform, China’s cultural industry has witnessed rapid development. According to the sample survey, in 1997, expenditures per capita of urban residents for cultural services such as entertainment and education were 448.38 yuan, compared with 55.01 yuan in 1985. According to the statistics of 1997, more than 2,600 professional performing arts groups nationwide performed 420,000 performances per year and domestic audiences reached 460 million. In theaters and cinemas, 2.352 million performances were performed per year, with 169 million visitors and 120,000 kinds of books and 73.1 billion books , 7918 kinds of magazines, 2.44 billion copies, 1077 kinds of newspapers and 18650000000 copies; a total of 1,363 radio stations and 923 television stations, covering 86% and 87.6% of radio and television respectively, and has formed the largest television market in the world .
