荽,全名芫荽,又名胡菜,俗称香菜,是常年受宠于餐桌的叶茎类蔬菜。特别是冬春季节,火锅行俏,它就益发风光起来,烤烤涮涮,没有香菜作配料,就成不了正谱。 香菜原产于地中海沿岸及中亚一带。汉代张骞出使西域时传人中国,现在全国各地普遍栽植。 说来不怕见笑,我认识香菜还是在动乱岁月之前。一天,我应邀参加一次友人家宴,那位无锡籍的女主人,亲自烧了几只地道无锡菜,菜上竟都盖上鲜翠嫩绿的香菜,要不是她告诉我,我还真不认识它,更不知怎么“消灭”它。
