The first gate of Nanqiao canals in Banqiao Reservoir is the first gate to be passed by Banqiao Reservoir to the downstream for drainage. Its geographical location is very important. The article briefly introduces their design and function from the layout of the first sluice of the South Main Canal, hydraulic calculation, energy dissipation facilities and stable calculation.
