电源调节和摄影仟伏调节滑轮多为圆形平面碳轮组,因自耦变压器外绕组为曲面,碳轮装在外绕组上仅靠隔离片两侧约三分之一接触。接触面积较小,接触电阻大(见图)。装配时若不注意校准两根滑杆高低位置,碳轮在运行面上有些地方就只有单轮接触。当连续工作2小时以上时,碳轮发热,使碳轮侧几十匝绕线局部烧坏。我们试验证明,稍加负荷1小时,碳轮温度就相当高。后经我们换上新绕组,在外绕组上垫0号砂布,人为转动碳轮使它的圆周面
