During the last 40 years of reform and opening-up， tremendous changes have taken place in China. The situation in its neighborhood and the world has also changed. China has held steadfast to the principles of equality， mutual trust， inclusiveness， mutual learning and win-win cooperation and continued broadening its circle of friends to build a new type of international relations featuring a community of shared future for mankind.
　　In recent years， the vision of the Belt and Road Initiative has become more and more a reality as it continues to bear increasingly lush fruits. Countries along the route have constantly explored new ways to conduct cooperation and achieve positive results in many aspects， such as infrastructure construction， poverty reduction experience sharing， scientific development， cultural interaction and mutual learning. In this new era， China and ASEAN member states will work together on a new quest for world peace and prosperity.
