(20世纪)70年代初,我私自撰写了一篇关于敦煌文书的论文(当时我没有读书研究写作的自由),因要查阅几种书籍,便借故请假五天到北京。下火车后,我认为可以不被拒之门外的去处,只有中华书局,就到了那里。赵守俨先生见到我,又欣喜又惊讶。我说明来京意图,他慨然允许我到中华书局图书室阅读,接着又问我所居何处。我在北京有几位朋友,但我不能以我被遣送被改造的身份,使他们受牵连,
(20th Century) In the early 1970s, I authored an essay on the Dunhuang Manuscript (I did not have the freedom to study writing at that time) and went to Beijing for five days on the basis of an excuse for visiting several books.
