In the search for better approaches to teaching in China, Krashen’s second language acquisition theory comes into their sight. Inthis essay some problems with existing teaching practice are first of all listed. Then Krashen’s second language acquisition theories are intro-duced. In the third part, a detailed instruction of the theory is given.
