初、高中地理教学协调问题是中学地理教学的现实问题,也是影响中学地理教学的突出问题,一直受到一线教师的关注,但对此问题进行系统研究并提出相应的解决对策还是缺乏研究,故就协调问题进行深入思考,发现在新课程背景下,初、高中地理在课程标准的设置、知识的连贯、学生的“学”和教师的“教”等方面都存在衔接问题,基于教材和初、高中地理教学实际,提出人教版地理课程协调的几点建议和方法。
