针对采用十字划分方案高清晰度电视视频编码器中四个子编码器平分码率独立编码可能带来的子图重建质量不均衡,从而造成十字边界易于察觉的问题,提出了一种易于用MPEG-2专用视频编码芯片实现的码率控制方法。其基本思想是根据MPEG-2专用视频编码芯片的特点,按照每个GOP中1帧各子图的复杂度,对各子编码器的编码码率进行调整,从而减小子图重建质量的不均衡。理论分析及计算机仿真表明该方案可明显改善子图重建质量的不均衡,从而使十字边界不易被察觉。
Aiming at the problem that the quality of sub-picture reconstruction caused by the independent coding of the four sub-coders of the four sub-coders in the cross-division scheme HDTV video encoder is not uniform, which makes the cross border easy to perceive, an MPEG- 2 dedicated video encoding chip rate control method. The basic idea is based on the characteristics of MPEG-2 dedicated video coding chip, in accordance with the complexity of each sub-picture of a frame in each GOP, the encoding rate of each sub-encoder is adjusted to reduce the quality of sub-picture reconstruction balanced. Theoretical analysis and computer simulation show that this scheme can obviously improve the unbalanced quality of subgraph reconstruction, so that the cross border can not be easily detected.
