The FDA has recently established a Food Technology Specialist Institute to monitor food processors to prevent and reduce the previously anticipated risk of food contamination. A team of scientists from the food industry monitored the chemical treatment of food, temperature control and processes to help protect the country's food supply from malicious attacks.
