由中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院发起组织的“影像VS景观——影像与声音的政治经济学”系列论坛,2011年的计划是4月为第一期,6月第二期,10月第三期。论坛旨在如何在景观社会中重新梳理影像得以形构的影像和声音的必要关系,并试图从其中挖掘和整理、揭示出抵抗的方式与积极的筹划,由此延伸出一系列关于影像、声音的政治、经济关系中的分析和讨论。当代中国的影像艺术,尤其活动影像的创作与展览的历史线索并不长久。从1980年代末期开始的自发、自觉的行为记录,到概念成熟的录像艺术,伴随着技术的革新后的新媒体艺术、基于互联网络创作的电脑艺术,以及更为广泛的独立电影和纪录片的潮流,都可以视为当代影像艺术的主要组成部分。近年,“电影”则作为主要的艺术概念和美学形式全面“进入”到当代艺术中,在大量的创作表现、美术馆中的展览以及专题论述都日益增多。影像的创作与表现更多包含一种集体的、工业的合作生产模式,这使得影像艺术的创作更接近一种对机制的参与过程,而非全然的独立的思考,同时,如何在更为复杂的艺术系统中的社会分工保持必要的警惕与反省,则是本次论坛的主要讨论的焦点。
