党中央、国务院高度重视社会保障体系的建立和完善。最近,朱总理又进行专题调研,并主持召开座谈会,要求进一步加快社会保障体系建设。省委、省政府也非常重视和关心社会保障体系的建设。吴官正书记和李春亭省长都多次提出明确要求。各级各部门务必要高度重视,以对人民、对历史高度负责的精神,切实抓好社会保障体系建设这件事关全局的大事。当前,医疗保险制度改革相对滞后,已成为制约国有企业改革,影响经济发展和社会稳定的突出问题。不加快医疗保险制度改革,问题会越积越多,改革的风险和难度就会越来越大。6月19日林书香副省长在全省医疗保险制度改革座谈会上作了上述讲话。座谈会6月18日至19日在威海市召开。参加会议的有省、市地政府副秘书长,劳动和社会保障、财政、卫生系统的厅长、局长和医改办负责同志。座谈会由省政府副秘书长王玉芬和劳动保障厅厅长李戈主持。

On June 19, Vice Governor Lin Shuxiang made the above speech at the forum on reforming the medical insurance system in the province. The forum was held in Weihai from June 18 to 19.
