Introduction This is a series of eleven series of essay essay on competition which was written from January 10 to January 29, 1993, during the Spring Festival of the year. I’ve read only one book on the theory of competition, the “race theory and economic behavior” coined by Jolin von Neumann and Oskar Mor-genstein mentioned in this article. Von Neumann is a famous mathematician, Hungarian, human American during WWII. He has made great achievements in several fields. He has long taught and engaged in research at Princeton University in the United States. Today, there are two main streets in Princeton, United States, in memory of two scholars who had lived in that university. One is Einstein Street, there is a von Neumann street. Contest theory is also an interdisciplinary discipline in mathematics and economics pioneered by von Neumann. This book he co-authored with Morgensters is for this discipline
