叙述了一种用于约束放电激励型高功率CO_2激光器的七折谐振腔,讨论了腔的不同参数对输出功率影响、分析了模式特性,选择了合适的腔参数。应用该腔的激光器,其基模状态下,稳定输出功率为1.09kW、光束发散角0.5mrad(全角),十分接近其衍射极限,其电光转换效率为13.4%。
A kind of quarter resonator which is used to confine the discharge excited high power CO_2 laser is described. The influence of different cavity parameters on the output power is discussed. The mode characteristic is analyzed and the proper cavity parameters are selected. The laser with this cavity has a stable output power of 1.09kW and a beam divergence angle of 0.5mrad (full angle) at its fundamental mode, which is very close to its diffraction limit and its electro-optical conversion efficiency is 13.4%.
