宜城县县城海拔高度65.8米;东、北及西南三面为丘陵,分别属大洪山和荆山余脉,平均海拔在250米以上;中部为汉水冲积平原。水田主要耕作制度为稻麦两熟,杂交水稻当家组合为汕优2号和汕优6号,制种系早秋制。自1976年以来,单产一直徘徊在50—70斤之间,1980年最高为71.7斤。1982年坚持县繁县制,实行分户联片集中制种。全县共1,003亩制种田,分布在县原种场、农科所、讴乐公社农科站及四个生产队,共342户。
Yicheng County seat 65.8 meters above sea level; east, north and southwest of three hills, respectively, Dahongshan and Jingshan Yumai, with an average elevation of 250 meters above; the middle of the Han River alluvial plain. The main cultivation system of paddy field is paddy and wheat two-cropping, hybrid rice-headed combination is Shanyou 2 and Shanyou 6, and the seed production system is early autumn. Yields have been hovering between 50 and 70 pounds since 1976, up from 71.7 kg in 1980. In 1982 adhere to the County Fan County system, the implementation of joint family-piece centralized production. A total of 1,003 acres of the county system of farming, distribution in the county seed market, agricultural institutes, music and agricultural cooperatives station and four production teams, a total of 342 households.
