本文为作者们给编辑部的信件,报告1例儿童的鼻咽癌(NPC)经放疗和化疗强化治疗,在第二次复发时,肿瘤侵袭到右眶、眼和脑,乃停止了常规治疗,仅用干扰素而获治愈。干扰素系由Rentschler公司从人的成纤维细胞培养制备,经纯化后干冻储存于—20℃。特异活性约为10~6U/mg蛋白质。注射前溶解于生理盐水中。患儿11岁,1974年8月初诊时已有颈淋巴结肿大和鼻阻塞。咽窥镜检查显示鼻咽部一个大肿瘤,无咽外扩展及远处转移的临床征象。作了肿瘤次全切除术,组织学示未分化的恶性淋巴上皮
This article is a letter from the authors to the editorial department reporting one case of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. At the second relapse, the tumor invaded the right iliac crest, eyes and brain, but stopped conventional treatment. Only healed with interferon. Interferons were prepared from human fibroblasts by Rentschler, purified and then stored frozen at -20°C. The specific activity is about 10~6U/mg protein. Dissolved in saline before injection. The child was 11 years old and had a cervical lymph node enlargement and nasal obstruction at the time of initial diagnosis in August 1974. Pharyngoscopic examination revealed a large tumor in the nasopharyngeal area with no clinical signs of extrapharyngeal spread and distant metastases. Subtotal tumor resection was performed and histology showed undifferentiated malignant lymphoid epithelium.
