随着全球价值链分工水平的深入,中国制造业的出口技术复杂度有了明显提升,但对其准确度量及影响机制一直未得到有效解决。笔者基于价值链分工视角,对2002年~2011年中国制造行业出口技术复杂度变迁情况进行分析,并通过拓展的Feenstra商品连续统模型,提出影响中国制造业出口技术复杂度的四个假说,并利用中国制造行业面板数据进行实证分析。结果表明,研发投入、外商进入强度、进出口贸易额、要素禀赋和产业规模等指标对制造业出口产品技术复杂度的影响存在较大异质性,因此,针对不同类型制造业应采取差异性研发投入策略和贸易政策。
With the deepening of the division of labor in the global value chain, the manufacturing technology complexity of China’s manufacturing industry has been significantly improved. However, its exact measurement and its impact mechanism have not been effectively addressed. Based on the perspective of value chain division of labor, the author analyzes the changes in the technical complexity of exports in China’s manufacturing industry from 2002 to 2011 and puts forward four hypotheses that affect the technical complexity of China’s manufacturing exports through the expanded Feenstra product continuity model Use Chinese manufacturing industry panel data for empirical analysis. The results show that the impact of R & D investment, foreign investment intensity, import and export trade volume, factor endowments and industrial scale on the technical complexity of manufacturing export products are quite heterogeneous. Therefore, different types of manufacturing industries should adopt different R & D investment strategy and trade policy.
