2003年12月29日,由沈阳市教育局主办,辽宁省通信公司沈阳分公司协办,沈阳市妇女儿童宫、沈阳行知素质教育培训中心承办的沈阳市农村优秀中小学生e网通科技冬令营在沈阳开营。本次活动的目的是为了进一步推动我市广大中小学生“知沈阳、爱沈阳、看沈阳”活动的深入发展,特别是让农村地区的中小学生深入了解城建等方面的最新发展和变化,积极引导他们投入社会,参加实践,开拓视野,增长知识,并激发他们爱祖国、爱家乡的情感。
