句容港位于镇江市西部桥头镇、大道河下游出口与长江相接处,是句容市唯一的内河港口。主要功能是将句容下蜀地区石料运往苏北各地,一年约有40～50万吨,装卸是靠肩挑人抬。近几年来在句容市交通局领导下,全港干部职工团结奋斗,面向市场,以优质服务快装快卸求发展,集中有限资金进行技改,取得了较为明显的经济效益。1995年末固定资产比1991年增长3.89倍,实现利润增长四倍,职工人均收入增加2.1倍。 Jurong Port is located in Qiaotou Town, western part of Zhenjiang City. The lower reaches of Avenue River connect with the Yangtze River. It is the only inland river port in Jurong City. The main function is to send the stone in the Jurong Shushu area to all parts of northern Jiangsu Province, with about 40 to 500,000 tons a year. Loading and unloading is carried by people on shoulders. In recent years, under the leadership of the Transport Bureau of Jurong City, all cadres and workers in Hong Kong have worked hard together and are market-oriented. They have been quickening their demands by providing high-quality services and concentrated limited funds for technological transformation. This has yielded significant economic benefits. At the end of 1995, the fixed assets increased by 3.89 times over that of 1991, achieving a fourfold increase in profits and a 2.1-fold increase in the per-capita income of workers.
