我区高寒山区包括民乐、山丹、张掖等县海拔2000—2600公尺的地区,共有耕地70多万亩,占全区耕地面积的32.5％,是春小麦的主要产区。但由于水利条件较差,寒冷干旱,肥料缺少,地广人稀,劳力缺乏,耕作粗放,因而单产较低,且不稳定,春小麦一般亩产只有三百斤左右。为了适应农业发展的新形势,进一步提高我区高寒山区小麦产量,在上级党委的重视和省、地科委及农业部门的领导下,1981年由张掖地区农科所及民乐县农技站派农业技术人员
Alpine mountainous areas in our district include areas of 2000-2600 meters above sea level, including Minle, Shandan and Zhangye.
