图书选题策划方案基本确定后,在组稿环节,编辑引导并干预作者写作是发挥自身主观能动性最重要的表现之一。从作者接受写作邀请至书稿最终完成,编辑必须与作者进行适时、全面而深入的沟通,这样一方面有助于使作者透彻理解拟实施选题的总体构想与具体要求,更好地实现编辑的选题策划意图,按时、优质、高效地完成组稿工作;另一方面还可以在交流中深化选题思想,提升图书质量,为读者奉献精品图书,创造更大的社会效益和经济效益。编辑干预教材写作的具体方法主要有:与作者共同进行书稿内容策划,确定教材编写大纲“编辑学者化”是我们经常听到或看到的一句话。
