陈丹青,上海人,身为一位画家、作家的同时,也是舆论领袖、公共知识分子以及鲁迅研究者,还是一位文化人,抑或是一位明星人物?答案显然是令人困惑的。这位年近六旬的老愤青自从归国以来,似乎已不甘于继续静坐在画架前,以艺术的方式取得话语权,而是把个人诉求转移到公共渠道,直接以针砭教育和时事,塑造出一个“爱说话,能说话,到处说话”的“愣头青”!而他十二年来留给外界的“语录”已然太多.远远涵盖了那些好事媒体对他的不断解读,而陈氏似乎也深知其身陷其中,不能自己,掌控不住自己口腔的陈丹青也最后把批评的目标转向了自己,借用陈丹青自己的话来说:他的绘画艺术到底是“退步”与“荒废”了!
