目的探讨高迁移率族蛋白1(HMGB1)在乳腺癌组织中的表达及临床意义。方法采用免疫组化法检测65例乳腺浸润性导管癌和30例正常乳腺组织中HMGB1的表达,分析其与临床病理特征的关系。结果 HMGB1在正常乳腺组织中的阳性表达率低于乳腺癌组织(16.7%vs.52.3%)(χ2=14.875,P=0.004)。HMGB1的阳性表达与患者年龄、肿瘤淋巴结转移无关(P>0.05),而与肿瘤组织学分级、肿瘤最大直径密切相关(P<0.05)。结论 HMGB1的异常表达是乳腺癌发生中的早期事件,在乳腺癌的发生、发展中起重要作用。
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) in breast cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of HMGB1 in 65 cases of breast invasive ductal carcinoma and 30 cases of normal breast tissue. The relationship between HMGB1 and clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results The positive rate of HMGB1 in normal breast tissue was lower than that in breast cancer (16.7% vs.52.3%, χ2 = 14.875, P = 0.004). The positive expression of HMGB1 was not related with the age of patients and tumor lymph node metastasis (P> 0.05), but closely correlated with histological grade and maximum diameter of tumor (P <0.05). Conclusion Aberrant expression of HMGB1 is an early event in the development of breast cancer and plays an important role in the occurrence and development of breast cancer.
