一、农村中学英语教学的现状分析农村学校的英语课堂教学基本上是按英语课本统一要求进行的。学生进入农村学校后,因社会、家庭、学校的环境不同,学生的个性不同,他们的学习差异性较大,英语学习差异性更大。学习困难的学生增多,参差不齐的现象日益加剧,有很大一部分学生对学习英语失去兴趣。对于教师来说,在有五六十人的班级里,对这些不同水平、不同个性的学生用同一的内容、进度、方法授课,教学质量难以保证,使得英语教学陷入被动的状况。要扭转这种教学被动的局面,使所有学生都能得到发展,教师必须打破传统的课堂教学模式,做到既不压制基础好的学生,也不放弃基础差
