钱伟长是我国著名的物理学家和数学家。他1912年生于江苏无锡。1931年盛夏,19岁的钱伟长在清华大学参加了文科考试。那时候,升学考试是由各所大学自出试题。一个月中,钱伟长相继参加了唐山交通大学、南京中央大学、武汉大学和厦门大学的入学考试。不久,钱伟长陆续收到五所大学的录取通知书,他从中选择了清华大学中文系。
Qian Weichang is a famous physicist and mathematician in our country. He was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu in 1912. In the summer of 1931, 19-year-old Qian Weichang attended the liberal arts exam at Tsinghua University. At that time, entrance exams were self-administered by universities. In a month, Qian Weiwei successively took entrance exams at Tangshan Jiaotong University, Nanjing Central University, Wuhan University and Xiamen University. Soon, Qian Weichang successively received five universities admission notice, he chose Tsinghua University Department of Chinese.
