汉字六书为象形、象形、指事、会意、形声、转注、假借,是后人根据汉字的形成所作的整理,分析和归纳出的系统。六书是汉字的六种构造条例,不是造字法则,更不可能解释所有汉字现象。会意作为六书之一,属于先民造字的一种方法。六书一词,最早出现于《周礼》中,但没有详细的解释。到了东汉时期,学者许慎在《说文解字》对六书定义进行了正式的记载。汉字六书之“会意”具有很强的表达功能和意象表现力,这为我们进行图形设计提供了丰富的素材。

Six books are six kinds of construction rules of Chinese characters, not making rules, but can not explain all the Chinese characters. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, scholar Xu Shen formally recorded the definition of Six Books in Shuo Wen Jie Zi. Six characters of Chinese characters “knowing” has a strong expression and image expression, which provides us with a wealth of material for graphic design.
