随着时代的发展,作为美学教学的核心科目,初中音乐教学得到了充分的重视。对于学生而言,初中音乐课程是一门相对较为有趣的教学课程,能够净化心灵,起到合适的精神心灵作用。但是,它的教学改革却一直未曾得到较为有效的发展,很大一部分原因在于当前音乐教材中的音乐作品过于枯燥乏味,学生对其提不起学习的兴趣,也就造成了教学效率低下的状况。为此,初中音乐教师尝试将流行音乐应用到初中音乐的教学课堂中,并迅速取得了一定的教学成效。
