葛明德先生是北京联合大学应用文理学院前任院长，教授，《北京联合大学学报》本届编委会编委。他的这篇文章，对一些理工科论文提出了自己的看法，言之有物，很值得一读。文章看起来是从学术角度讨论理工科论文应该怎样写作，其实是提出了一个大问题：我们应该怎样搞科研。不是常说实践是检验真理的唯一标准吗？那么，原始论文的引用，确确实实能够反映出文章的学术水平，体现出作者的科研实力和所付出的辛勤努力。实际上，只要科研水平上去了，文章的学术质量应该是不会太差的。理科文科都是如此。我们把这篇文章全文发表，希望大家围绕如何提高我校的科研水平，如何提高《学报》的学术质量展开讨论，群策群力，推动北京联合大学教学、科研的进步。葛先生还对《学报》编辑工作提出中肯的意见和建议，我们会认真考虑和采纳。至于葛先生对《学报》成绩的充分肯定，我们是鸭浮春江，冷暖自知，只能当作鼓励和鞭策。
